We had a lovely stay in the Guesting House. The room is charming and spacious. It's also very tastefully decorated, with a beautiful garden view. We enjoyed watching the friendly chickens wandering past our bedroom window. The shared lounge space is wonderful and so cosy. The location is good, beautiful surroundings and very close to Hastings. Not far from the Eurotunnel in Folkestone either. We found the complimentary breakfast basket was very tasty, and such a thoughtful touch. The dog friendliness is so much appreciated by us dog owners! A big thank you to the team at Guesting House for their kindness, and warm and welcoming service.

A convenient location for us, a few miles from Hastings. Pleasant country house atmosphere. Helpful staff. The attic room we had was characterful and quirky. The afternoon tea experience is highly recommended. There's a walk around a pond and a large lawn for dogs; ours was made to feel very welcome. We'll stay again.

Almost everything ... a tiny, lovely little cottage located perfectly for relaxing and spending a great time! Everything you need is there, Wifi very good, big supermarket 7 minutes by car, close to Hastings and the ocean! Animals are so cute and it's just quiet there ... wonderful!!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathtub was a lovely bonus after a long day exploring the city. The room disposed of everything we needed and the selection of teas and coffee was much appreciated. The host was welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this place without any hesitation.

    Loved the amazing welcome we received with complimentary tea and coffee. Simple easy menu (genius) Lovely grounds, extra large bed, great parking. Lovely history and filled with antiques.     Lovely house and gardens very comfortable plenty of parking. Hens and ducks roaming around garden very peaceful setting. Shanon as always so welcoming. Breakfast delicious delivered to your door. Close to Hastings Nature reserve so great for dogs. Lots nice local pubs.

    Pleasant rural location handy for visiting nearby Winchelsea, Rye and Hastings. Even though some of the staff were young novices they were helpful and friendly and keen to please. The hotel has lovely reception areas to relax in. My room was spacious and comfortable with a nice en suite shower room. There was parking, although it looked like it would quickly fill up. Good value for money.

    On her arrival we were met by Shannon, the manager, who was very pleasant and offered further assistance should we need it. Our room was big, comfortable, and warm. We had our own private bathroom and toiletries were provided. At 8am the next day a basket of freshly-made pastries, fruit, a bottle of orange juice, milk and coffee were left outside the room. There was free parking on the premises.
