Bel and The Dragon is an exceptional country Inn. We loved the decor, the comfortable room and bed, the guest lounge, the amazing food and the service from the staff was exemplary. From the general manager all the way to the cleaners, we were made to feel so welcome. We would stay again and again, such a shame we don’t live closer. If you come across this gorgeous Inn, just book it, you will not be disappointed.

We really loved this hotel. It’s located in a beautiful spot, the building and grounds are gorgeous. When we arrived there were deer, rabbits and hares running around on the lawns. It felt magical! Lovely staff, rooms were faultless and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We were very happy to have a cooked to order breakfast and the eggs Royal were so good, the egg yolks were so bright and orange that it’s almost like they were laid that morning. Bed was extremely comfy and it was peaceful. The hotel is decorated in an classic contemporary style which is very elegant with flare.

Loved our stay in this lovely country pub. It was affordable, the staff were friendly and helpful, they provided a great breakfast included in the room cost plus had other good meal choices available and the picturesque location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the rural walk into the St. Mary Bourne village. It was also a good location to visit tourist locations like Stonehenge and Winchester Cathedral.

Beautiful place to stay, facilities and grounds were fantastic. Disappointed with the dinner, long wait to order then a long wait for food to arrive to be told they had none. Staff sorted it but disappointed with the communication between staff.

    A perfect location in the center of Overton with very good parkingfacilities. Very dogfriendly. The room had seperate entrance and was located in the former stable. Very nicely decorated with good space. Modern but the style matched the old Inn very well. Close to areas where you can walk your dog. If we return to England , this is a place where we would definitley stay again.

    I was so pleasantly surprised with this room! I always assume pub rooms are going to be quite basic but honestly it was the cutest, cosiest place to stay. We stayed for location really, for the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, it's a 3 minute drive from there, SO close. HI would recommend driving. Loads of parking at the pub. Dinner at the pub was so nice too, we had the tapas and it didn't disappoint.

    Great location for Popham Airfield, with good parking. Very comfortable room, clean with all mod cons. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice from the cold buffet and cooked options 😋
