Lovely hotel surrounded by trees and well Kept grounds. Food was excellent and the staff were so friendly welcoming and helpful. Rooms were decorated beautifully and big beds! First impressions driving in were how lovely it all looked. The pub in the village is traditional and has an old charm and warmth. Absolutely cannot take our stay and have rebooked.

We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts but this beats them all. What a hospitality and super nice people. if we can recommend a bed and breakfast then this is the one to be. Nothing is too much and everything is possible. Forgot to bring my coat, and it will just be sent to you. this is the place you should go. Not to forget the breakfast is also excellent. This is not a 10 but a 10 plus.

    Although the room was a little small, it was quite satisfactory for a night or two. The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness very good. The vegetarian breakfast was excellent, as was the egg mayonnaise sandwich with salad and chips. The bar is friendly and during 'Wacky Wednesday' the beer is cheaper to buy. I had the impression that 'Locals' frequent the bar, which is a good sign too. Parking spaces are plentiful, which given the location is essential.

    Very large and comfortable bed. Good breakfast included in room rate. The location is fine being between the M1 and the A1 and also near the A14. Rooms are generally well appointed with quality linens and bathroom products. The air con was a bonus as it was boiling during our visit. Lots of free parking available.
