The shepherds hut was lovely. Extremely cosy especially with the log burner. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. Amenities were clean and there was everything we needed was available. After a day of Christmas shopping in Cambridge this was exactly the relaxing stay we needed.

The owner of the property was amazing and so helpful providing us with information for places to visit. I was particularly interested in watching the horses training letting me know what time and location. Providing places to go for breakfast and about the charity shops from which I was lucky enough to purchase a hat for the races. We had a fire pit to enjoy a drink and snacks to enjoy

The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent and the attention to detail was super. Very impressed with the package of items left for us on arrival. (Milk, wine, coffee, tea, sugar,). It was a very homely cottage and was like a home from home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

It's such a beautiful old authentic hotel, very tastefully decorated. Lovely friendly staff and amazing food. There was plenty of free off-street parking. I wish we could have stayed longer here. Don't hesitate to book this quaint hotel with loads of character.

    Picked this location as attending Newmarket races, location was perfect and so easy to find with ample parking. Staff were excellent, food and drink selection was great, rooms were so clean and comfy and the full English breakfast the next morning was amazing. We will definitely stop here again.

    Quiet location with ample free parking. Tastefully furnished room in new 'custom built' annex Good beer and excellent food in the pub with very good breakfast included in our room price.

    Very nice, car park and electric charger. Rooms are in a separate 'barn' area so no noise from the main building. Very very good all round.
