Very nice and wellcoming property, fully equipped kitchen, pantry stocked with everything needed for breakfast, living room equipped with wood stove (in addition to standard heating) for furtherly cozy atmosphere, very comfortable bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Angela is a very kind and helpful landlady. No public transport service nearby, so you must travel by car, but this is not an issue...

Delicious breakfast especially Forthay's own delicious muesli. The property itself is very attractive and well tended. Especially lovely was an evening reading by the fire in the 'snug' after a long day out walking. Our hosts were gracious, generous and provided excellent suggestions about walks and dining out.

Lovely quiet location. Jennifer was the perfect host. She made us feel so welcome and comfortable.Lovely clean, warm room with all the expected facilities. Breakfast was amazing with lovely quality fresh produce .It was a pleasure to stay there and we wished we were staying there longer .Home from home feel about it .
