We had an incredible time at Hotel Shibi! This lovely guesthouse is run by the kindest family. It's easy to find (right at the end of the main road) and close to the start of the path up to the Chaukhi pass hike. The guesthouse itself is in a beautiful spot – we easily spent an hour or so per day drinking coffee and enjoying the gorgeous view from the terrace. The breakfasts (20 lari per person, well worth it!) were quite filling and varied, always an excellent start to the day. The room we stayed in was impeccably clean and quite comfortable. All in all, the price/value ratio is excellent. But even with all these pluses, what we loved most was definitely the people! The hosts are always smiling, always kind. The sort of people that we always left interactions with feeling a bit more upbeat than before. I hope we'll make it back to Juta some day, and if we do we'll definitely choose Hotel Shibi again.

One of the most magical experiences of my life. The owner is an amazingly hospitable host, and on the way to the mountain house, he gave us a true Georgian experience with homemade wine, bread, fresh vegetables and sausages. The location is mindblowing, it's about a 1km hike up the mountain from Juta. The owner told us various stories in Russian (he doesn't speak English) and made sure we are comfortable with our stay. This is not your average hotel experience - it's not what you expect, prepare to be open minded and adventurous, and it'll be the most memorable experience you have in Georgia.

A very beautiful cottage located in the end of Sno village, here you live in your own world, while staying connected to the village. Sno village itself is a small peaceful place with enough hostapility to make you feel at home, at the same time enough privacy to let you enjoy the nature around: the river on the back of the cottage, the morning welcome from the mountains and the sun.. The gigantic sculptures are within walking distance, adding some more mythtical atmosphere to this area. Buy some fresh food from Kazbegi and buy bread, cheese.. at the small store nearby, then you'll fine. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen & BBQ. Sometimes you'll see people walking along the main road that leads to Juta - chaukhi trail. The wooden house itself is nice, new, beds are good, clean, and above all, the owner of the house is so kind and caring, she's willing to help anytime, with great efficiency. I stayed there in the middle of August, early mornings and evenings you'll find it a bit cold, windy, so take a scarf or a jacket with you. A taxi from Kazbegi to Aisi costs 20 gels. Aisi is a greet choice if you want to relax, stay close to the nature, or walk to Juta. I enjoyed 2 nights there, but a week should be enough for me :) Thank you Ana

    location - secluded, next to the beginning of the trail, with a lovely view; balcony with beanbags and armchairs, so relaxing; the rooms are perfectly clean and new, with nice bed linens and towels and everything. Exceptional breakfast!! The host is lovely and helpful. Ah and there’s a place to park the car (we came by car from Tbilisi, the road is bumpy but ok). great value for money, recommended

    The view is astonishing, it's hard to say goodbye to such kind of view. Owner is kind and accommodating and foods are delicious and will cook as you requests. . Car parking is spacious in a local parking lot and just paid 20gel not bad for a safe and convenient parking. I would love to come back and recommend it to my friends. The view from the cabin is what will bring you back! Beyond 😍.
