Everything was perfect. The location Is just on the TCT trail. We received a warm welcome and had everything that we needed. The food was great - we had dinner and breakfast freshly made by the family with ingredients from their own garden. I would go back anytime.

We stayed one night at Melen in Pari and had a wonderful time. It's a great place to rest especially if you are on the trek from Chuberi/Nakra to Mestia. Our room as well as the entire house were very clean, modern, comfortable and freshly renovated. The family was very nice and welcoming, and served us a huge and delicious dinner and breakfast (it was actually a feast!), consisting of khachapuri, lobiani, stews, soups, salads, bread, wine and much more that felt really rewarding after a long hike. Eka even helped us get through the village past some guard dogs and even offered us her phone number if we should ever get in trouble on the trail. This is a lovely family with a great home - you'd miss out if you didn't stay there.

We are vegetarians, and the food was great (dinner, breakfast and lunch for the road). The room and the bathroom were renovated. The housekeeper was really friendly. The village Barshi is cozy.

Wonderful views in all directions in probably the best hotel in the area of Ushba. Very friendly staff with excellent manager, cooks and other staff. The owner, Marlen and his wife are always ready to help and can arrange for any requirement, including travel, horse riding, excursions, guiding and, amazingly, traditional Svaneti dancing lessons in the premises of the hotel itself, using an ex-professional Georgian dancer and instructor! Nargiz and Natasha in the kitchen and hotel premises have also been extremely helpful and friendly, with excellent cooking and also providing washing machine for laundry.

Location exceeded our expectations. You can order many dishes of the local cuisine in the restaurant at the hotel. Time that we spent there was not enough to enjoy those stunning views of the mountains that you cans see from every window of your room. We took one extra night in this hotel. It's good place to stay if you have a car in your trip, so you can visit many places nearby.
