The resort is beautiful just like on the photos. we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool, which was amazing and very clean and had everything we needed, especially since we travelled with a baby. we do however feel that for the price we paid the villa should be cleaned every day, at the least the towels should be changed. we had booked half board and breakfast was really good with lots of choices, dinner was buffet style and without much imagination, especially for the price we paid. The photos of the food variety were very different. On the first night was ‘Greek night’ which was delicious and was served to us but compared to other hotels in this price range dinner option at the buffet were not great. Cocktails were delicious and many varieties. The staff were friendly but one or two were more attentive than others who need better training. The hotel at that level lacks professionalism , it seems a bit too casual. We didnt have a car but feel you need one because going into town took 20 minutes which was fine but walking back was up a steep hill which in the middle of summer might be a bit too hot and tiring.

We had a wonderful stay, the resort is not only great but its' staff are amazing!! Thanks to the F&b team, especially Niko (he is unique and the best person we met during our stay), Dany, Emanuela and also the GM (Marius). They were always very helpful and smiling all day. We can't forget to mention Adela from the reception, she was so nice to us and we connected very well.

Olympus is the best place to stay in Malia ! Located close to the beautiful beach and not far away from the city. You will find restaurants and shops nearby. Hosts - Ilyana and Giannis went above and beyond so we could enjoy our vacation with no worries. They were super nice, we spent alot of time talking together. Room was amazing - clean, cozy and well equiped. Kichen and bathroom had everytning we needed. Room had 2 balconies with beautiful view, one with beach view and one with sea view. Swimming pool was clean and we enjoyed our time in it. Olympus also has a cafee/bar with amazing drinks :) Olympus studios is pet friendly place, there are two sweet dogs there which are super nice ! Overall i would rate my experience with Ilyana and Giannis 11/10 - we really enjoyed our time spent there, maybe some day we will come back 😃
