Very nice and spacious room, with a a large and fully renovated bathroom. Beds were very comfy. Very clean, with fresh towels daily. Staff was kind and helpful.

I booked this for my wife and her friend and she raved about it afterwards. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the level of care from the hosts she said was exceptional. The kitchen was fully equiped with everything you would need if you chose to cook. Location was close to plenty of restaurants and a supermarket but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. She didn't want to leave because she was made to feel so welcome. She now wants to book her next holiday and stay here again.

We loved our stay here. This was the best hotel we have stayed in for some time. The staff were just amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed here for 5 nights and spent most or our time around the hotel and pool which we wouldn't normally do but the atmosphere in the pool area was lovely and relaxed, the loungers were very comfortable and there were always some available through out the day. The poolside snacks and cocktails were great. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sunset over the sea from the balcony.

The accommodation is nicer in reality than in the photos. Usually the opposite is the case. The point in which it dominates is privileged. The port is in the heart of the island which is alive. The hotel is there too. Next to it are 2 excellent beaches and also the hot springs. Natural spa. Around the mansion you will find fresh fish, everything you want from shopping and nightlife. Kalymnos is awake. It never sleeps, you are not bored at all hours, you simply have endless choices to do everything. The hotel is one of a kind in this location. At the same time, it is very quiet and you don't notice all this life there because you have a view of the sea and the settlement that spreads across. You don't need a car. You save a lot of money. We had a rich breakfast. Traditional and so warm made with kindness. Everything is handmade. It had been many years since my husband and I encountered such a hotel and we extended our stay. It is full every day and we were lucky that there was a last minute room for an extra day. There we met Mr. George, an excellent host. He told us about the architecture and history of the hotel. You will be enchanted. Our communication was direct from the beginning and very informative, since we knew what we would see and everything from Valia who is not in the hotel but it is like having a personal virtual assistant at all times via WhatsApp. Everything was as they presented it to us and much better. It is worth 10+++ We will see you again soon since you will be open all year round.

    The perfect location for perfect holidays on Kalymnos: modern bungalow, very well equiped kitchen, everything clean, very quiet location, private car park. Walking distance to beaches, supermarkets and taverns. And last but not least beautiful sunset views and very friendly hosts. We loved every minute and defenitely will come back.

    Staff was friendly and regularly changed towels and cleaned the bathrooms. Some rooms have a good view, but ours was partially obstructed. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of free parking, although the driveway is steep.

    The studios are very close to the climbing area, which is a good starting point for many trekking excursions, with a breathtaking sea view and plenty of room for car parking (more precious than gold in Kalymnos). You can appreciate the legendary Greek hospitality at Avra Studios: the owner Ms Katarina came daily to clean and make up our room and sometimes brought us her homemade pita bread and Christmas cookies. She was very supportive throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely welcome.
