Demati House was a wonderful surprise! Very comfortable (mattress and pillows included) and spacious, decorated in the local style, yet very modern in services and amenities (A/C, fans, laundry room, kitchen, etc), with 5* housekeeping & fresh towels every day. The veranda and the garden are also a wonderful place to spend the days and nights when not at the beach or dining out. Last but not least, i love the location, very close to the best beaches of the island, 10 minutes by car from the port and 15 minutes from Chora, avoiding all the crowds, yet staying close enough if you wish to join. And you can park your car just outside the house.

The property was absolutely stunning. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a kitchen area and a lovely bathroom. We had a huge terrace overlooking the ocean, which was an absolute treat to watch the sunset. Christina gave us so many wonderful tailored suggestions of brilliant restaurants, and beaches off the beaten track. Sometimes we had the whole thing to ourselves to watch the sunset!! There was daily cleaning, so we were able to have clean towels and fresh sheets every few days. The location was brilliant, very close to Skala where there are lots of shops and restaurants. I would suggest having either a car or motorised scooter for the island, as this will allow you to be able to explore more of what Patmos has to offer.

Nektarios is an exceptionally hospitable and pleasant host. He welcomed us at the port, which meant a lot to us, kindly accommodated our request for an extra bed, and even helped us with booking a rental car. The apartment is in an excellent location, just a few minutes’ drive from both Chora and Skala, with a stunning view from the terrace. The house and the surrounding garden are arranged with great love and taste. Everything was perfect, and we will definitely be coming back.

    Everything was perfect. It was located just 7-8 min.s walking distance from the port. There were enough parking space for the car. The terrace was very spacious with a great port sea and Skala view. It was very very clean (I may say that it was the cleanest one I stayed in Greek islands for the last 10 years). The house was cleaned every day and the towels were changed daily. Bed and pillows were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped with the oven, stove and water heater. The white wine and the snacks were pleasant surprises.

    The host, Kostas, is wonderful. Went above and beyond to make sure our time there was excellent. The location of the house is central, local buses run right by, there is no problem parking if you rent a car. Definitely a place we would go back to.

    I cannot stress enough how beautiful this villa is. This was the cherry on top of our island skipping. Beautiful entrance, room, bathroom. It was clean, and so well decorated. Peaceful bliss. So accommodating also, we arrived at 1-2AM and someone came to greet us at the entrance of the villa. Loved the private parking also!

    The room was quite good with a view of sea. AC was working fine. We had breakfast but didn't try it. Wi-Fi was powerful. They have private parking space so you can park your car/motor. If you book a room in here, don't use google maps to reach it. Just enter the small street next to Pantelis Restaurant, then turn the right in front of Hotel Rodon and follow the road. This is much more better and shorter way to use google maps direction.
