It's of the grid, but that alone is already enough reason to go there. Amazing lowners, staff and surroundings. Do the tubbing, chance of seeing the kingfisher. We would recommend to stay at least three nights.

The owner was super friendly and helpful even though he didn't speak English. The room was very comfortable and clean and we had beautiful views to wake up to. The property is surrounded by nature right next to the river. It was great they accepted credit as a lot of places we found don't.

A little gem. I above all loved the atmosphere of this place and the staff working there. They were so friendly, interesting and helpful. It was the perfect environment to chill but also to chat and exchange stories with the staff and fellow travelers. The garden is absolutely beautiful. They have different choices for food at reasonable prices. It is located about 40 min walk from the unique reserve of Semuc Champey. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit rustic but I knew that when I booked and I wanted this kind of experience.

Beautiful hostel right at the river, I could spend days chilling at the hostel grounds. Also nice to be in a dorm but without bunk beds. There is many showers and toilets, so you barely ever have to wait. The tours they offer were nice and staff was friendly and it is all Guatemalan run.

I love this place. Cool vibes and nature gets together over there. I love the bar and the staff. There is no open kitchen but they helped us out to set barbecue and they also provide food. The rooms has a rusty feeling but its better cause everything is in harmony with nature in this place. No noise so you can enjoy the sound of birds.
