We found Mare's place by accident and book only a single night. We needed a place to stay to break long journey home from our vacation. Location of this property is just a short drive above Vrlika town and surrounded by meadows and mountains. We had a wonderful stay and excellent breakfast. Hopefully we will return some day in the near future.

The host is the best! He welcomed us with drinks, we had a nice chat and he was also very helpful with any suggestions about the area! We felt very welcomed from the beginning! The place was great, a very nice place to stop. It had all the things you need, close to some restaurants as well, and located in a green area! Hvala!

The home cooked meals were delicious local dishes, all cooked with local ingredients. The room was lovely, and the balcony is a nice bonus. The staff (Ante and Tina) were exceptional, very hospitable, welcoming, and made excellent company. The location was fantastic. A little sleepy town, with not much happening - it was the perfect destination for a relaxed holiday. There was plenty to do in the area, and the lake is just a short 5 minute walk away and was great for swimming.

I was impressed by the hospitality of the Croatian hosts! The apartment owner was lovely and communication was very easy. Even though I stayed only one night, I received plenty of tips and useful information about the area and local attractions. I was welcomed with wine in the fridge. The apartment is modern, fully equipped, and I would even call it luxurious. A wonderful place! I wish I could have stayed longer and would gladly come back.
