Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what really matters. We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with soul—honest, intimate, and full of Balinese charm—this is it. We’d come back a thousand times over. Huge thanks to all the legends we met at Rumah Kayu. The resort is beatiful! Staff is super friendly and polite! Rooms are spacios and amazing in design! Resort is a bit off centre but if your up for 15-20min walk to main streets - then no worries! :) There is always an option to call a taxi! On the other hand - its realy quite :)

the design of the property was beautiful it felt super connected to the nature surrounding it and incorporated it. the room was so comfortable and clean the bath with the view over the rice field was such a bonus and felt so luxurious. the staff were amazing specifically- satria, Mia, aris and sumer!! They couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating if they tried it truly elevated our experience! We did the cooking class while we were there and it was such a great experience we got to understand the local food and grow such an appreciation for the ingredients from the chefs clear passion - we laughed a lot and the food turned out great! They even provide a free shuttle into central Ubud which is such a nice touch and made it even more stress free :)

The pool in Sabana Bliss is very nice and long enough to have a good swim. The room was beautiful and the upper floor balconies have a nice view. Service works great also through WhatsApp. A la carte breakfast to the room delicious and with good variety.

Our stay was amazing, the staff is very nice and helpful, the location between rice fields a bit outside of busy Ubud was perfect for us. Restaurant in the hotel was so good, that we ate there every day and thanks to this skipped “Bali belly” which we were afraid of before our trip. You can eat cheaper out but we liked food so much we were eating in the hotel. Big plus for mosquito nets in the room. We also went on Thursday evening for Balinese evening in this hotel and we really liked it.

    This villa is located in a serene area surrounded with paddy terrace. The road is accessible via car and there’s parking lot beside the villa. Everything I need during my stay was available. Wayan and Desi always helpful and ready to assist anytime. Breakfast choice was great, and the pool too! Had a great stay to relax and unwind, and totally recommended this villa!

    Very nice hotel in the very center. Maybe not the most luxurious, but very cozy! The very friendly staff allowed us to leave our car in the hotel parking lot for free to walk around the Streets of Ubud for a couple of hours. They allowed the children to stay by the pool for a few hours after check out. It was very nice to have such a friendly attitude!
