The Guest House was exactly as expected: clean, tidy and cozy. Fiachra, the owner, is a wonderful and caring person. I forgot my watch in the guest house and Fiachra sent it back to me in Italy in no time. Just great people doing a great job.

Lovely stay, beautiful house, large room with very comfortable bed. We stayed just overnight on our way from the west to the east part of Ireland, had a good rest. Host lady was very welcoming and sweet, cared of our comfort. The breakfast was very generous and freshly cooked!

Super cute place in the countryside with delicious food, nice breakfast, view over the marina and friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Recommended place to stay if you look to rest and rechange in a green and relaxing environment.

Breakfast and the dinners were amazing. The manager was awesome. She checked us in and got us a bigger room.

The Shearwater Hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from Athlone and a 50-minute car journey from Galway. It is close to the marina and the River Suck.

I loved my stay at the Cosy Apartment! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. After I let them know about my work commitments and schedule, Connar would kindly light the stove in advance so that I returned each day to a beautifully warm and cosy space — so thoughtful! The apartment itself was the real highlight: very spacious, well-appointed and equipped with plenty of facilities (though there’s no dishwasher). It was also in a great locatation within easy driving distance of Athlone and other local sites such as Clonmacnoise. Highly recommended!

Situated in fabulous countryside surroundings, very beautiful and peaceful. Warmly welcomed with a very professional attitude wile having a lovely family feeling on arrival. Grounds and house front are very well kept and clean. Again, a warm and welcome homly feel on entry to property. Accommodation was immaculately clean throughout, comfortable and warm with all facilities available to you being all you could ask for and more than enough. Fantastic grounds and surrounding area to walk and take in surrounding area. Wifi and plenty of parking space. Excellent value for money and an enjoyable stay.

The place was tidy and cute located in the middle of farms. A perfect getaway for family or friends for the weekend. Anthony, the host provided all necessary information and his son Henry even showed us around the farm and animals. They are very friendly and I highly recommend the place
