The guesthouse was spotless, the towels were fluffy and the linen was crisp, the couple who run it helped me with directions, they were lovely - I didnt download the app.... the bedroom was spacious, it was a very peaceful location

Very comfortable staying with my dog. The owners are so kind & helpful. The room is on the side of the house, so you have your privacy. The shower is strong & hot, and I was served a delicious breakfast with porridge & fruit. Strong internet, was able to work from there too. There is a lovely forest/beach walk, about 20minutes drive away. Really happy to stay here again. Thank you!

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. We had a great stay at the Dales. Bernadete was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Our daughter forgot her retainers in the room; after contacting Bernadette the next day, she was very quickly able to locate them and sent them to our country while refusing to get paid for the postage cost that I offered. Thank you for all your help, you have saved us a big headache! If we ever come to Ireland again, we will be happy to stay in the Dales again.
