We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming countryhouse. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches – a real blend of countryside charm and luxury. The spacious living room overlooked a peaceful garden and featured a cosy fireplace, large TV, and a fully equipped kitchen in the corner, perfect for a relaxing evening in. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable with a huge bed and luxury linen, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless and modern. Jennifer, our host, was fantastic – so welcoming and attentive, leaving us provisions for breakfast and ensuring we had everything we needed. We loved the private entrance, outdoor seating area, and the nice selection of books and games. The location is brilliant for exploring the area – close to the picturesque village of Cong, Ashford Castle, and the stunning landscapes of Mayo and Connemara. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for both short and extended stays.

Good comfortable hotel in the centre of town serving tasty pub meals. Only a short walk to the John Wayne statue and the old abbey and castle. I really enjoyed my stay.

Had a lovely stay in the Bell tent, nice little park on site for the kids, great cooking and shower facilities and the place was spotless. Instant hot water, help yourself to plates, cups,, bowls, cutlery! Fab little set up of tables and chairs to have your meal at if you like. Fridges and cupboard space to store your food, people had large lunchboxes with their bits in them. Toilets and showers were so clean. Rubbish bins all around, bbq area on site also. Little tv room and a laundry room. Absolutely everything you need. Margaret and Lisa were a pleasure to deal with, extremely helpful. Lovely area, castle grounds nearby, pubs/restaurants afew minutes drive and a fabulous forest with a lake to go swimming a short drive away. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

    Customer service second to none, we arrived a little early and were greeted with a lovely cup of coffee. Fabulous position, great for local walks. Ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. Breakfast was very good too, great service. Free parking behind the hotel is a definite plus!

    In centre of the village no problem with parking your car in hotel car park. Everything is within walking distance and nice staff good breakfast entertainment in the bar could not ask for any more

    Location, free parking, staff were lovely, bed was very comfortable, they had little toiletries in the bathroom! The room was very spacious and the shower was hot! Breckfast was fresh everything there that you needed.Couldn't ask for anymore for the price! Excellent value for money!

    The staff is so kind, mainly Jerry (or Gerry, I don’t know) telling you the stories about Cong and the Quiet Man shooting while you have breakfast, etc. The surroundings are interesting, a few kms away from Connemara National Park for instance. The house is above average: clean facilities and comfortable beds, parking lots, etc.
