Located in the very center of Kildare, Silken Thomas is not a family run B&B, but greets you with a warm welcome anyway! We enjoyed the lovely and unexpected experience to lodge in the nearby Virgina Lodge, in the wonderful Kate Room (each room is dedicated and has a personality). Very large, comfortable, stylish room, the biggest bed ever and everything you can ask for: sincerely jaw dropping! Breakfast not included, but very well cooked in the restaurant a few steps away. Parking was free adn away from the street, located just behind the Silken Thomas restaurant and pub. I would surely come back and recommend Silken Thomas.

Nothing but peace, I booked the pod as I was working from home & I got more work done in a few hours then I would have anywhere else. Loads of snacks & just enjoyed the peacefulness. Room was comfortable with all required facilities. Excellent shower, easily operated. Rooms are in separate blocks to restaurant and bar which ensures a very quiet night's sleep. Walking distance to Kildare Village. Free parking on site. Very good location near lovely square and Cathedral.

The Rooms at Cunningham’s was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS. The car park is directly beside the building with parking in the rear. Good walking in town with shops & restaurants. The room was large.

Beate the manageress was so friendly and helpful. Convenient to have separate bar, restaurant and accommodation in close proximity. Food very good. Free parking. Beds large and comfortable. TV with Netflix etc.
