They also allowed us to leave our car parked as we hiked Slieve Leauge which is a short walk up from the house. We will be remembering and recommending to any of our friends and family who would be interested. The walking path to Slieve League is a mere few steps. This is ideal if one is an avid hiker. The food was amazing and the service was first-class. There is ample car parking just across the road. The location is rural but it is very close to Sliabh Leigue and is a paradise for walkers. Unfortunately, we stayed during a bad storm and the weather was so bad that it was impossible to get out walking. Only 5-10 minutes minutes drive away from the harbor to do a boat tour or to the parking lot to walk to the viewpoints (or hiking any further). Nice pub and bar, loved the atmosphere! Room was small but clean and functional. The food was really good and really exceptional if you expect the usual pub food quality. Also good breakfast!
