The property is stunning and very tastefully furnished. There were two large comfortable sitting rooms,a lovely well equipped kitchen and a large bedroom with beautiful bed linen. The garden was extremely pleasant and the herd of sheep in view from the dining table was very restful as well as amusing.Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and had provided us with a very generous welcome pack. It was in a very quiet location but once we had sorted out the local geography we easily found our way round the attractive countryside.

For those who want to walk in the Wicklow Mountains or do the Miners Walk at Glendalough, the Upper and Lower Lake: Hacketstown is a beautiful starting point. By car you are in your walking area within half an hour. By train from Carlow an hour to the heart of Dublin. The apartment above the Corner's Pub is approx. 100 m2, practical and well furnished for 2 to 4 people. The owners are the same owners of the pub downstairs, where you can also enjoy a nice meal. Everything around the same square: a supermarket, a takeaway, a pharmacy and a doctor's office. Highly recommended. We were completely happy with this apartment.

    A wonderful cosy spot in a gorgeous little town,room was so warm,awesome shower,quiet house even though it was full,beds were so comfy.My two kids,4+10, shared a family room and they loved it so much they said it felt like home away from home,we stayed in a big cork hotel previous two nights and Madelines beat it hands down according to my daughter which was a result for Dad😀also so many activities in the area so perfect location and free on street parking

    Lovely accommodation in a very pretty village. Rooms were very modern and really clean and comfortable. Self check in was straightforward. No food on site, but not a problem as choices for dinner and breakfast all walking distance. Free on street parking.

    A cracking little hotel in the centre of a lovely town in a beautiful part of the country. Everywhere was top quality, the bedroom, bathroom, the quality of the fittings inside the room and all over the hotel. Only two storeys but the bonus of a lift is great for those getting on a bit or with heavy luggage. Good evening meal, breakfast and a good bar. No car park from what I could see but plenty available in front of the hotel.,
