The 7 Traders Hostel was our salvation! After we arrived early in the morning on the night bus from Agra, our previously booked hotel room was unfortunately canceled. The 7 Traders Hostel confirmed our booking immediately and we were able to check into our room much earlier. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We booked a second night on the spot. The room is clean and very central. We were able to visit all the attractions on foot and to escape the heat, we always stopped off at our hostel. The price-performance ratio is really great. We are happy to recommend it to others and will be back on our next trip to India!

Mr. Kapoor is the kindest host, a wonderful person who welcomed us into his house as dear guests, introduced us to his family, helped us in every way and created a wonderful, caring and delicate support for us.. His house is cozy, tastefully furnished and it's easy to relax in it and enjoy your stay.. The bed is big and comfortable and there is always hot water.. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean with plenty of space for our luggage.. The location is very convenient and there is a shop and restaurants nearby as well as the impressive Hanuman’s temple . Because of this person we consulted with and enjoyed talking to, as well as because of his calm, a nice home that we felt like our own - we will return right there again and connect the interesting and strong Varanasi with more humanity, warmth and coziness! We had a great time and recommend this home heartily and sincerely! Thank you :)

We really loved the staff at Sugar Stars Inn, very friendly, accomodating and helpful. Also, the restaurant next door which is run by family or friends, was very enjoyable, great staff, delicious food and very good prices. Our room was spacious and very comfy. The location is quite central close to the railroad junction and tuk tuks are readily available. Still, the most interesting parts of varanasi are about 3 kms away and unless you don't mind walking along a very busy and loud street for that distance you depend on taking a tuk tuk. Overall, we enjoyed the Sugar Star Inn very much and can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Subah-e-Banaras really lives up to its name — peaceful and full of positive energy. The rooms are modern yet warm, with beautiful interiors and thoughtful touches. The terrace was our favorite spot for evening tea and sunrise meditation. It’s in a calm VIP colony but still just a few minutes’ drive from the main temples. We felt completely safe and well taken care of by the caretaker. Perfect for those looking for comfort and calm in Varanasi.
