This new resort has all the ingredients for the perfect stay. Well appointed, comfortable and spotless rooms, hot water, quiet AC and ceiling fans. The rooms are spread across the whole site so even when other guests are on site your privacy is maintained. The rooms have been built so the balcony or windows are facing the view, as nature lovers we really enjoyed this. The site has been thoughtfully planted with lots of shady areas to sit and relax. The decor is very tasteful and celebrates traditional crafts and building methods. The restaurant has AC and serves very tasty food. While we were there it was obvious that the restaurant was focused on high quality food, everything we tried was excellent. The icing on the cake is the hospitality of the staff. Definitely five stars for customer service. We cycled to the resort and the extra up at the end of a ride was 100% worth it.

Very peaceful and quiet location away from traffic and noise, situated by a serene lake and lush trees and greenery. There’s a nice spacious kitchen with filtered water, a fridge, kettle, oven hobs and teabags etc. nice big clean bathroom. The bed was big, clean and very comfortable. The family bought a big breakfast and coffee every morning and we’re very helpful and friendly in general.

River View Homestay is a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying in this River Front house. It is a traditional old Kerala style tiled house overlooking the beautiful river. The location is unbeatable with a beautiful view of Chithari river, surrounded with mangrove forests and coconut trees in a peaceful village. This place is very well maintained and breeze all time to house. Kitchen is available with cooking gas, stove with all utensils. We cooked food for 2 days and it was good experience. Owner gave the full itinerary to visit nearby places and we watched theyyam, Visited Bekal Fort, Red moon beach and Fishing in the river was the best experiences we had. This is very budget level homestay in entire Kasaragod. We stayed 2 nights and had almost relaxing trip. The warmth and hospitality was really something we are looking forward to visiting again. The property is beautiful. All the cottages are very well maintained, the gardens and paths between them are always pristine clean and it’s a sight for tired eyes. Both restaurants are amazing, and the staff!!! They are just perfect. All of them, so professional and so kind! We had the luck to arrive on Diwali, so there was a special performance by musicians and we all helped with the lights after sunset. The pool area is also very peaceful and quiet. Our cottage was very big and very comfortable, and the bathroom was half-closed, which gave a sensation of being outside while showering and a very nice one. We chose this resort precisely to take a break from the traffic and craziness of the last 2weeks traveling by motorcycle, and we couldn’t be happier with this place. It was the perfect ending for the perfect trip to India. I recommend it vividly to everyone who has the opportunity to stay here.
