The place is owned by a couple, Indrani and Vikram providing an exceptional hospitality ! Away from Leh and the dogs barking at night, we spent three very relaxing days. The food was always an impressive experience, with a romantic setup in the garden.

Chubi Sponbo is a great and relaxing guesthouse to spend you days in Leh. It's comfortable, clean, the breakfast is good and there's an inner garden where you can rest and acclimatise :). It's family run and they are very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back there while visiting Leh!

The room was big, new and clean. Good hot water and water pressure from the shower. There is also a heater in the room which really helps in the evenings at this time of the year. The staff are so helpful and friendly - made our stay an absolute pleasure. They offer really competitive taxi prices. Breakfast is excellent, food at the property is delicious and reasonably priced. Location to the old market is very good. We had such an amazing time at Honey Bee and would recommend for an excellent stay in Ladakh.

Apart from being obviously clean and comfortable, the owner Gonbo stood out to me as helpful and happy to share his knowledge about the area to help you make the most of your experience. Don't hesitate to ask him for guidance on where and how to do what in Leh. Also, Food and Drinks were all recommendable.

All was brilliant here! Firstly, the family that own and run it are amazing, they are just so welcoming and accommodating, giving tea and chatting— advising how to acclimate. It is the cleanest and best run hotel I’ve visited at this price point, not just in india. The beds are comfortable, the sheets very good quality and the rooms are beautiful, with good views and atypical ladahk i architecture. The dinner they can put on is delicious and else they can advise where to go and what to do! A great stay!

This hotel is just an exceptional place to stay in! Staff were more than friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home there. Hot water and heating worked outstandingly well and breakfast offered a lot of tasty options. The room came with a coffee maker, kettle, milk foamer and even an iPad! The amenities in the room were of excellent quality and variety. The hotel location is a little away from the town centre, but it is a nice walk and one gets to enjoy fantastic views of the mountains from the hotel. There are a lot of common areas with comfortable sofas, shelves full of books that can be borrowed, outdoor seating and terraces with sun beds and chairs.
