Food and hospitality is beyond words with local tastes and wide assortment sitting in an atmosphere of local tapestries, carpets and local cutlery . Not to miss 100Mbps WiFi always helps The nights are lovely with the breeze and calmness and wonderful view of Starry night and even the Saturn ring. Kudos to the owner family who has put a astronomical telescope in the property besides their heart in the hosting

There is no better place to stay in Leh. The views are the best in the city, and the service and friendliness of the Indus River Camp was beyond anything we could have expected. It's the best Indian food we had during my friend's visit to the country, and all freshly made with seasonal ingredients. The activities were fun and the rooms perfect in size and facilities. If you want a peaceful place to enjoy the Himalayas, you just have to go here. Mary, Nico and the whole team made us feel so welcome, we will definitely come back.

Great location, very friendly people, clean rooms. Less then 10 minutes walking distance from the main Market. The quest house has a great garden, its family run. Every room has its own bathroom and hot water all day. Great deal !

Very friendly, family run hotel very close to the center. The owner of the hotel Mr. Gonbo was very helpful, he organized an excellent program for us for four days. The room with balcony is very spacious. On the last night he fed us dinner and lit a campfire. The hotel is located in a very pleasant courtyard with huge trees and vegetable garden with two cute dogs. We will be happy to come back anytime.

The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. Call a taxi, book a day trip, help carrying the bags - even without asking, offer some serious help in medical emergencies etc. Every demand - they were on it and made it happen ASAP. That being said, we visited Leh to the end of the season where occupation of the hotel was low. The hotelier speaks English fluently and with little accent. Therefore communication is simply great and uncomplicated. Even after the stay the owner helped us with some issues in our next destination. The room is plenty big, has a heating and hot water in November, which we heard is not to take for granted. There is a balcony and a roof top for sitting outside. Breakfast was decent. In conclusion, we sincerely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The property, view and staff were fantastic. it’s quite hard to find a room for 3 people, but these guys did it for us…. a proper 3rd bed, not a fold out cot. Also a short 3 minute walk out the back entrance and you have multiple choices for food and drink, motor bike and scooter hire. and maybe another 500m and you are in the main cafe and shopping mall, ATMs all that stuff. I loved this stay.
