We had the best stay! The house's location was private with an open floor plan and windows that looked out to the ocean on one side and the glacier on the other. Big common space and kitchen, which we used to make all meals. Kitchen has a new touch stove, which was easy to keep clean. Plenty of pots, pans and baking items. Coffee and tea in the house was also good. Nice touch to have drinks available and we find coffee important. It was great to have a smart TV- made everything feel modern even in the countryside. The house decor had style and it did not feel like an average hotel room. Lighting was also great, considering how dark it got we had plenty of options of what to turn on and off. Would definitely return to experience the area in another season!

Beautiful cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. They even had an egg slicer. You have a great view to the sea, the room was cosy and the water was hot. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

This property is excellent! pictures you see doesn’t really show real picture. 1st of all house is huge!! 2 families or big group will feel very comfortable! view from the kitchen and majority of rooms are spectacular! Kitchen have everything you need! There is storage with extra needed staff like to wash your clothes. There is dishwasher! Even ice was in the fridge! Jacuzzi was great - at some point felt quite warm. There are 2 bathrooms, one even have sauna 😁😁😁 Around the area there are places where you can have short walk - to rest after day of heavy hiking. we would love to come back and stay for much longer time! Outside real nature - not only ocean, but birds flying and singing all day!

We liked everything here! This is a great guesthouse, has enough bathrooms separated by male and female, big kitchen that has everything you need for any type of meal prep. Rooms have small sink, table with chairs and place for jackets. Easy self check-in, right next to the main road, bunch of parking spots, some food shops like pizza and similar that you can buy, Orkan right next to the building. We loved it here and would recommend 10/10.

Three has been lot of comments abt this hostel but I don't understand what people are expecting when they book a hostel which used to be former warehouse. This is a concert venue at the very tip of West Iceland and people who are running this place really trying to make your stay memorable. I must say Gundy is a true gem, perfect host, entertainer and unbelievably good musician. We were really honored having Gundy playing for us that evening and this is the whole point. If you came here expecting 50 sq m room with huge kitchen and quiet atmosphere you are at the wrong place.
