This was the best stay during our trip! An entire small house with two bedrooms and living room/kitchen and a terrace with a grill. Beautiful location - private however only half an hour drive from Akureyri. Perfect when coming for whale watching, driving the Diamond Circle. Totally recommending it.

Very colourful, cute little cabin in the woods. Very quiet which was really good. Free use of the BBQ, hot tub etc. Had a decent little kitchenette as well so you could whizz up a quick meal for dinner after a long day of driving.

This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. It was the best and most welcoming house we have been in Iceland. We really felt at home. The furniture and design of the house are really nice, the house was clean and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our dinner, even some Food and services to share for all guests (not to be given for granted). You can litterally cook and relax on the sofa, watching the ocean from the windows... big garden to enjoy the sun. Perfect and easy check in with instructions.

Very good location for someone who likes quiet, comes with great view. Unfortunately for us, there was a massive snowstorm on the day we arrived. The owner was very helpful, he came to help us clear the snow the next day. I will definitely come back when I'm in Akureyri.
