Everything was so perfect. The room was very cozy, clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. There is parking on site and the location is good. We stayed in a cottage and had the opportunity to cook. There were hot springs at the hotel and after a day of traveling I felt great about making use of them. Breakfast was wonderful and delicious. One of the best we had in Iceland. We will come back if we ever have another opportunity :)

The location was perfect, there is a volcanic crater within walking distance, and a fabulous lake very close giving spectacular views. The decor and welcome was lovely, Natalie and her partner treated us a special valued guests. Breakfast was perfect. We will definitely recommend to friends and family to stay here when in Iceland.

Not only that the hotel served breakfast earlier to meet our travel schedule, the hotel owner went above and beyond to fix our broken car. He mobilised his network early morning so we could contiue our trip and catch the flight. We are grateful forever. BTW, we saw the Northern light from the house.

The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful - Deep appreciation from us. Our rental car with summer tires was slipped into road side due to the snowy and icy condition of the road in the morning, and I called the hotel (Maria) for help. The hotel quickly dispatched a gentleman (Birzir) over to pull us out back onto the road so we could continue our travel. A huge relief for us !! Also, very good breakfast and cozy room! a good stay in this hotel!! Will come back staying here another time (during warmer season)!!!

I liked that it was a horse breeding farm and so got to see plenty of beautiful horses grazing. And other animals playing! The landscape was amazing.the cabin was cosy and just perfect. I got a great night's rest after a long day of travel.

    Fantastic location - spacious plateau between mountains. Nearby is Grábrók - crater you can easily walk on top of. Cottages are simple& nice with all the necessary inside. Beds are comfy, surroundings are calm. Freely walking cows, sheep, hens and ducks give a great feeling and atmosphere. Hot tubs are available with the scenic view. We've enjoyed every bit of the stay here. Enough parking places near the cottages. You can get a feeling that the hotel develops and they're only getting better.
