We stayed in Deluxe Double Room - which is a cabin located about 100m down from the main reception area. It was very cosy and warm and a lovely space with a balcony. The evening meals were delicious and the owner, who was very welcoming, clearly takes pleasure and pride in preparing each meal. Best to order in advance as she runs everything! It felt like a very personal experience staying and we would definitely return.

During our trip in Iceland, we stayed in many cottages and this was one of the good ones! The air in the room was fresh and the shared kitchen and bathroom worked great. Everything was also clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was also very helpful and gave us good tips for our next destination.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Breakfast was grate, the service at dinner was poor from the non local staff. They were on the phone during service and while between taking orders, no knife or fork at the table, had to ask for water and were not offered any drinks while reading the menu. Local staff where wonderful and everyone was very polite, also the non local staff.
