I stayed for one night with my family and had a great time. The room was nice and warm, and the owner was very kind. We even had breakfast that he prepared for his guests. Overall, it was a great stay and definitely coming back the next time in Iceland.

The family-owned Stafafell Cottages is located on a sheep farm in the countryside, 30 km from Höfn village. Each cottage has well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower.

Anna met us to handover the key even though it was quite late in the evening. She was willing to help with anything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage is spacious and very thoughtfully built in a fantastic location. Kitchen is well stocked and there's a BBQ grill in the front deck! There's amazing views of the mountains and glaciers and there're horses in the field nearby.

This family-run guest house, off the Ring Road in southeast Iceland, is 7 km from Höfn. Free WiFi is available.

It was all we could imagine. The house was exceptionally clean and well-furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bathroom was spotless and the room was very comfortable. The hosts left a book with useful info about the area and the history of their home and family.

The location is excellent at Vestrahorn. It allows unlimited access to the area. The staff is warm and very friendly. The buffet breakfast is great. The service at the Cafe is warm and quick. We liked their Panini. The rooms are comfortable and functional.
