Excellent quiet location, comfortable beds, clean room, great breakfast and other hotel facilities (they do have an outdoor tub, but we didn't try it, maybe next time). Also we loved the little orangery where you can sit and have a snack and glance outside at the gorgeous Icelandic scenery. Should also be great for seeing the aurora. The hotel staff is great and provide you with excellent tips for your travels (we got a great tip on where to purchase real quality wool garments, thanks again!)

The room has everything including a washer and dryer. Not all apartments provide them. The place is nice and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped even with cooking oil (no other places we stay provide this. Love it. They even provided bathrobes (which was unexpected) and they came in handy because the airline lost all our luggage we slept in the bathroom for the night. This place is the second cheapest place we stayed (the hotel airport was the cheapest) as the town is not very big. We like the place more than some other more expensive ones so I guess it's good value for money.

Whatever I say will not do this place justice. we had the best New Year ever! That was due to where we stayed and our wonderful host. Who is the kindest, nicest lady we could wish to meet. This is a perfectly located guesthouse as we could easily walk to most of the attractions, restaurants and shops in the town. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and large beds, large bathroom/shower, fridge with coffee and tea and good black-out curtains. The guesthouse is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet at night. The host was great - he lives next door and popped over as soon as he saw us arrive. In addition to our rooms, he also took us on a tour of the downstairs area which is amazing! There is a full kitchen, games room and living room for all guests to use. Plus, outside was a hot tub which we did enjoy. Our only regret is that we had just one night there - next time we'll be sure to book at least a couple of days.
