Myself and 7 friends spent the most wonderful weekend in this ultra modern cabin! Truly beautiful place to stay, the facilities were amazing! Very comfy beds! The room has everything including a washer and dryer. Not all apartments provide them. The place is nice and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped even with cooking oil (no other places we stay provide this. Love it. They even provided bathrobes (which was unexpected) and they came in handy because the airline lost all our luggage we slept in the bathroom for the night. This place is the second cheapest place we stayed (the hotel airport was the cheapest) as the town is not very big. We like the place more than some other more expensive ones so I guess it's good value for money.

The cottage itself is quite big, with a total of 3 bedrooms it’s perfect for family leisure and or larger groups (pro tip: you can re-arrange the beds to make a bigger bed). The surroundings are stunning, mountains almost everywhere, when it’s rainy and foggy the tops of the mountains fade a bit which makes it feel more cozy. The floor heating is a great way to keep the entire house warm although we did turn it off approx. 3 hours before sleep as it also heats the bedrooms. The location when it comes to restaurants and shops is also quite good, there is a small shop + road restaurant on about 5 minutes away from the cabin although all of this and more is provided in the guest book. All with all we had a great stay and would probably come again if we decide to visit Iceland for a second time. (Ps. There is a former volcano-ish pit 1 minute away, it does cost around 800 ISK but is worth visiting (€5.50 at the time of writing))

This is a perfectly located guesthouse as we could easily walk to most of the attractions, restaurants and shops in the town. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and large beds, large bathroom/shower, fridge with coffee and tea and good black-out curtains. The guesthouse is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet at night. The host was great - he lives next door and popped over as soon as he saw us arrive. In addition to our rooms, he also took us on a tour of the downstairs area which is amazing! There is a full kitchen, games room and living room for all guests to use. Plus, outside was a hot tub which we did enjoy. Our only regret is that we had just one night there - next time we'll be sure to book at least a couple of days.

It is a lovely house. Decoration is beautiful, the kitchen is great and the house is very confortable. It is not that far from Reykiavik but it is in an isolated and relaxed area.
