The garden is amazing, the room is well equipped, beautiful, spacey and clean. Antonella is a great host, very friendly and caring. Its located in a quiet neighbourhood and its perfect for trips to the tourist activities in the area. Enough space for parking at the street in front of the building.

Anna Maria was an excellent host. The room was in a lovely town in Tuscany. Our stay was tranquil and we very much enjoyed our chats with Anna Maria. The place was very clean and comfortable, and she even provided plenty of food for breakfast, including homemade marmalades. We look forward to staying here again when we return to Tuscany. We warmly recommend Il Cioccho hotels. We stayed at the Belveder hotel. It is located on the slope of a hill with a picturesque view on the valley where a small town of Barga is located. We are very grateful to the staff of the hotel (and personally to Ms Rosa Rita) who picked us up given the fact that the location was erroneously put on the maps.me map. For future guests: it is advisable to rent a car or pre-order a transfer if you arrive to the nearest train station. The breakfast were excellent and delicious. We would love to come back.

The hotel is situated on the hill top with beautiful views on Tuscany, surrounded by park and forest. It is beautiful, big hotel, consists of many buildings/wings. There is a pool, restaurant, and breakfast is held also outside on the terrace with amazing view. The breakfast is rich, various options also for vegan, gluten free or other diets. Room was beautiful, stylish, big, clean with coffee machine and with the balcony overlooking the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking is available but it is quite difficult to find it at first (especially in the evening). It was really an amazing stay.

Very peaceful location that is still within an easy walk of Barga Old Town, as well as very convenient for the local swimming pool and playgrounds. The apartment is very spacious and there is plenty of space to relax. Bed was comfortable. Even though there was a heatwave, the apartment stayed quite cool in the daytime with shutters down, and the main bedroom has a very effective ceiling fan. There are beautiful views of the mountain from some rooms, as well as the greenery. Our host was helpful and able to meet us despite us having a slight delay through arriving by public transport.

    We loved this villa from early 1900s with its remarkable Art Nouveau decor and furnishings, large rooms, including a terrace for the buffet breakfast, a lovely garden setting a short walk from central Barga, safe parking, and a great welcome from the staff, notably Nadia and Beatrice. When we left something important behind Beatrice organized a courier to send it to us at our next location, for which we were very grateful. It would be a pleasure to stay again.

    The lady who runs the place is very friendly!! It's clean, very simple, but comfortable and great views!! Very useful lift for my Dad to use as he struggles walking, onsite parking and a great buffet breakfast 😁
