The terrace absolutely completes this property - stunning views, loved sitting out soaking in the atmosphere. Property is very well done through out, has everything you could need during your stay (long or short, big or small group), and all logically organised for ease. There were only 2 of us, but property could comfortably sleep 6 with plenty of space and facilities for all. Self check-in was easy enough, and host always felt available if any issues

We had the smaller apartment on the upper floor. It was indeed like traveling back in time. When you enter the apartment, you have a feeling that you have found yourself in the beginning of the twentieth century: the building, the furniture, the lights, the decorations... And it was a very special experience. In addition to that, the view from the terrace is fantastic! Of course, the age of the villa is visible. In my country, they say that time has sharp teeth. But so far, this makes the apartment even more charming. All my family was fascinated.

Location was good, very close to funicular. Very silent place, not so crowded like downtown and not so hot. Reception Lady Chiara was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and hotel has nice selection of wines with affordable prices. View from terracr was stunning.

    The view from our balcony was spectacular, the hotel is near the funicular entrance so it is easy to go down to Como. The staff were amazing, informative, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Car parking can be arranged by the hotel. Breakfast was ample, there is a bar open until 20:00 and a restaurant open for lunch only, however there are plenty of options for dinner, including a snack on that wonderful balcony!

    The host and staff were very friendly. The car parking was taken care of, as we were able to park the car on the terrace after removing all tables and chairs :-) we really enjoyed driving uphill through narrow and steep streets, but we can imagine not everybody is up for this challange.
