We have only nice things to say about our stay. The room was very clean and spacious, as was the shower. The place is situated in a quiet location with stunning mountain views. The hosts - Teresa & Luciano are super nice, suggesting places one can visit and restaurants to go to. They even invited us for an aperitivo which was really appreciated.

We took the apartment. The place is full of character but also clean with an eccellent finish and attention to detail. The host was most accomodating, maybe you too could ask him to light the fire on your arrival! There is a snug sofa by the fire to cuddle up or read a book. A large table if you are staying with friends. Lots of antique furniture and no expense spared. The next door restaurant was very typical of the tradional cuisine of the area and excellent value for money. Where else can you stay with an abbey in the garden. An easy 10/10 5*

The host was super friendly, the apartment was nice and peaceful and the garden really fantastic. Roberto is a super host, when returning in the evening to the apartment, we found small gifts in front of our door (eggs, vegetables from the garden). We enjoyed a lot staying at „La Casa dei Nonni“ and were really sad when we had to leave.

The location was marvellous overlooking Gran Sasso. The hosts were so lovely and helpful and the home-made breakfast on the terrace delicious. We had one of the best and restful sleeps ever! We will come back!

    Large room with fridge and small terrace overlooking the mountains. Whirlpool bath was a bonus. Ample on-site parking. Restaurant on-site was good with great local wine and used by locals. Breakfast quality ok. Small lift available but no stairs from 1st floor to ground.
