Lovely rustic property in a remote setting nestled in the Chianti hills. We only stayed for one night but had a great experience. A very relaxed check-in with a complimentary bottle of Chianti and can of Olive oil, all produced on the land. We are yet to try both, but judging by the food and wine we had for dinner, they will be quality. The food was fantastic, excellently prepared by the resident chef. Breakfast was simple but exceptional; when travelling with fussy children, it's a testament that they both loved the breakfast options. The scrambled eggs were particularly delicious. A point of improvement; It would be ideal to stock guest rooms with a bottle or bottles of water on arrival and top them up daily. If you are looking for an authentic experience of rural Tuscany, this is a perfect choice. No pretence, no pomp, just good quality food and wine, with warm welcoming Tuscan hospitality. Thank you Fattoria L'Ottavo, a stata piacevole.

Exceptional stay in a wonderful 5 star hotel, recently refurbished hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful which made our stay incredible. We came to celebrate a special occasion and we had a nice surprise at arrival, we were upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was amazing. I would love to stay at Pieve Aldina again

The breakfast was complete, all sweet options like italian breakfasts! The shower was amazing, nice confort, pressure, hot water. The village is in a really nice place were you can do some trekking around and enjoy nature, peace and sound of birds.

La Valletta is simply PERFECT. The estate is a gorgeous authetic tuscan Agriturrismo with modern facilities and furniture on the inside. Overlooking the most breathtaking view of vast forrest and vineyards. My wife and I stayed at the UVA Apartment which was very spacious with a lovely living room, a kitchen that had literally every kitchen utencil you could need, a comfortable bedroom with a wide bed and a nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and you can ask for eggs to be made to your prefrence. The staff were extremly nice especially Angela who welcomed us at the check in and gave us a tour around the beautiful estate. If you're planning to travel to Chianti, La Valletta is defianatly the best place to stay. We are for sure coming back :)

Absolutely charming place with a very friendly staff. Try their wine, especially Riserva, and go at least once to the restaurant nearby. You won't regret it. We would definitely return.

    We love the location of the property with a great outlook and well-maintained and furnished outdoor area. The property is in very close proximity to Chianti attractions. The property was very clean and comfortable for a group of six people. There is a washing machine at the property and secure parking on the side.

    Not obvious from the documentation where the property is. It is west of Dudda on the SP16. You actually go the the Castle winery reception at Castello Di Querceto and they show you round the location. Popular with Dutch families. Great pool. If you're going to Florence there's a free car park east side of station in Figline Valdarno and train is good value. Shops in Greve. They do winery tours.
