I lovced the comunity vibe and how friendly everyone was. It was very welcoming and the hosts were exceptional in making the kids feel like they'd achieved a huge amount of valour in hiking the path up to the stay. The hikes in the area are also wonderful and worthwile. we had a swim at one of the waterfalls on the way out to refresh. There was also a cable car (only for luggage) that took our luggage up saving us the walk all the way up with the kids.

From the moment the gate opens and you drive up to the parking feels very special. Fabulous warm welcome from the owner.The room is unbelievable. modern large spotlessly clean with great private terrace.So relaxing.Breakfast was incredible,everything you need and more.The home made cakes were exceptional. 10 minute stroll to Canobbio. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough..left with nice parting gift from the owner,a fealty nice touch.

The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with every detail needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to the lake that we were travelling to the next morning. Villa Morissolina sits at the top of a hill overlooking lake Maggiore. The interior and exterior are gorgeous, giving you the feel of living in a stately home, with service to match! The room was spacious and comfortable. The garden has an incredible view of the surrounding hills and lake. The food is superb, well worth paying for the surprise 5 course menu. The owners are friendly and welcoming and work hard to give their guests a 5 star experience.
