The apartment is really lovely, warm, cosy and equipped with all the essentials one might need. It's spotlessly clean, smells very nice, the shower is great, the bed is comfortable, parking is easy on the road outside or in a gated garage under the apartment. Paola the owner is very thoughtful towards her guests' needs - tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, nuts, condiments, dried pasta, rice, etc are provided, the latter presumably in case guests arrive late and starving. The train station is an easy 10 minutes walk away and the town centre a further 20 minutes. The later than usual check out time of 11 am is a bonus as is the flexible check in time until quite late. Paola comes across as very accommodating and she replies to messages very fast. I would gladly stay at Ortensia again.

    The staff is the plus note. Very available to help. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and all dishes were delicious and extremely fresh. We had fish and pasta courses, even the fruits were at the correct maturation point. Wines, good selection. Rooms comfy and very high, that's another plus. External parking practically in their garden, easy and spacious.
