We had a truly amazing stay at this family owned establishment. It's great to see that the Gritti family runs it so well. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room chosen was not super big but it was very clean with a great bed and the room comprised of all necessities. It had a cute little balcony to chill. The bathroom was nice and the shower quite big. We ate at the local pizzeria (also owned and run by the family). We were lucky enough to have experienced the special night where they closed off the street and had set up tables in the middle of the road. The pizza was amazing and the accompanied live music made it even more memorable. The next night we ate at the restaurant in the resort and enjoyed it a lot. We received complimentary starters, had a great pasta course (the raviolli was to die for) before we enjoyed our main courses. The local wine went with it very well. However, the view over the entire valley was the main star of the evening. We also enjoyed a full day of relaxation in the spa/wellness which has everything you need to thoroughly rest and relax. We would recommend this hotel/resort very highly to everyone looking for some authentic Italian food, service and relaxation. I'm sure we will come back at one point!

The service was outstanding! Lovely staff who booked a restaurant and taxis for us without hesitation. It's a gorgeous property with unique styling and a only a short stroll into the heart of the beautiful Citta Alta town. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely courtyard. I spent 24 hours in Bergamo as a last minute itinerary change before a week of work in Milan and was so pleased to have chosen this destination!

Each corner was adorned with exquisite decor, reflecting the rich heritage of the region. Our room was a sanctuary of tranquility. Impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, it provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, while the attention to detail in amenities catered to our every need. The beauty of Zogno and its surroundings added an extra layer of magic to our stay. From leisurely strolls through the historic streets to exhilarating hikes in the nearby mountains, there was no shortage of breathtaking vistas to explore. I look forward to returning to Antica Corte very soon.

Best place if you are looking for a chill stay and visiting Como lake and Bergamo. Only one hour from Varenna by car and 45 minutes to Bergamo (if you are not afraid of driving on narrow mountain roads. We loved it!) We spent a night in the double room and it was the cleanest house we have ever seen. They have a proper big Italian kitchen, well equipped to share with other guests. The views are stunning and the check in and communication with the host is incredibly easy. The pizza restaurant next to the house has some serious wines and delicious calzones.
