The hotel actively discourages overuse of single-use products such as amenity items. You can also get room package deals that are cheaper by not having full cleaning every day. Free breakfast was awesome. You can rent bikes to explore Hikone (there are only 2 though, and sometimes get used). Parking is free. The ramen restaurant near the hotel was excellent and there are 24 hour fast food options close by, and a 7/11. The room was pretty comfortable. Price was nice.
