The “rain shower” is awesome. The hotel actively discourages overuse of single-use products such as amenity items. The public bath was nice. Free breakfast was awesome. You can rent bikes to explore Hikone (there are only 2 though, and sometimes get used). Parking is free. The ramen restaurant near the hotel was excellent and there are 24 hour fast food options close by, and a 7/11. The room was pretty comfortable. Price was nice.
