Excellent location - right next to the Sakura tunnel. You can enjoy it at night and slowly make your way back to the station the next day. It's a Japanese style house so it is very cosy and calming. The cat is also adorable and friendly (though you can't normally touch him) There is air conditioning and we also got a big hot water bottle and it was amazing to cuddle it at night! There was also some spring water(?) available to drink. The owner is able to explain all amenities in English so I didn't have to turn on my Japanese speaking part of my brain. She also gave some recommendations on where to go. Asami is an excellent host 👍 I wish i could come here again.

The host goes above and beyond. We got stranded in the town without a car after taxis stopped running, and he came to pick us up one evening. He is very responsive, accommodating and kind. Really exceptional!!! The house felt new and was really nice! Quiet, clean, fresh air. Comfortable, Japanese style futons for sleeping. Spacious bathroom, very quiet at night.

Rooms, private bath, food, staff, all were excellent! Even though there was some language barrier, the staff tried their best with all. It all felt very much like a guesthouse run by a caring family. Very warm and professional at the same time.

    Good place to stay with great price. Was the only guest during my stay. The host was very nice. The room is spacious clean and comfortable. There are parking spaces, nice onsen bath, and lots of amenities you can use. There are some local eating places nearby.

    We love an onsen in the room with seaview and also private onsen booking after 8 pm. The dinner was very delicious and had many courses. It took 2 hrs for having dinner. We were so full. There is a private parking lot and the location is close to Kawazu Sakura area.
