The two people who ran the hotel were extremely nice and friendly, and their cats were also lovely to see. The area is very secluded and peaceful, very idyllic. The shuttle service between Yumoto-Onsen and the hotel was an absolute lifesaver.

Beautiful location in the snow next to the ski field. Lovely staff and meals. Lots of facilities including hot bath and fitness room. The largest rooms we have stayed in Japan so far. Comfortable beds.

All very clean, very friendly and welcoming. A lovely big Japanese room with clean futon sets. Onsen is not too big but clean and not too busy. The dinner and breakfast were so well made, with all local ingredients, could see and taste all prepared with great care. We also loved the fact that it was so healthy and not too heavy. Coffee at their lovely Japanese breakfast was a real bonus too!
