This house is beautifully designed and equipped, very comfortable and fun for the kids when they can explore every corner. The view when you have bbq at the garden at dawn… spectacular! Tetsuji-san is very helpful, informative and prepared the house so well for us. Thank you Tetsuji-san so much.

This hotel is the best I ever stayed in Japan. There are kitchen set, washing mechine with the detergent, dishware, etc. The room was big and the beds were big and nice too. The room is also clean.

Amazing and unique Japan experience! Very nice room, very friendly, English speaking staff (which is not very common in Japan), a lot of small details that made our stay even better (Japanese tea and biscuites in the room, onsen, kimono, slippers, cosmetics accessories …) and delicious breakfast - Japanese or Western stlye, they can even arrange gluten free option.

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch.

The breakfast was excellent. You could choose from three options + there was a small western style buffet. The staff was very attentive and helpful. There was always someone there to take care of you. The onsen was beautiful. The lounge was comfortable with things to do, e.g. draw calligraphy, make origami, sip some tea or sake after the onsen. A small well- equipped gift shop, too. Good restaurants nearby.

Beautiful house and equally beautiful and quiet neighborhood, but then very close to the old town of Takayama. What more to ask. The facilities was perfect. Had a wonderful time cooking up a storm with our butcher bought hida beef. Although we didn't use the outdoor bath due to the cold, it was a nice touch. Even though the shower area was a little chilly, they provided portable heater you can wheel around as needed. And the Balmuda kitchen equipments....
