The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

I had a very relaxing and quiet time in an authentic Japanese house in the countryside. After returning from Biwaichi Cycling, we took a nap on the tatami mats and enjoyed BBQ in the garden for dinner. At night it was a pleasure to see fireflies in the brook just nearby. It looks like it can accommodate a few more people. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Our stay at Keshiki no Oyado - Metasequoia was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and kindness of the hosts. The owners were so friendly and caring! It was such a lovely experience staying with them! If you want to have a relaxing day in a countryside area and just want to experience the laid back life there I recommend you to stay there. Besides it's not far to go to lake biwa by a little walking and to go to imazu to catch a ferry to chikubu Island.

    I met the owner, Iki, who was very friendly and accommodating. Her house is lovely with all the facilities that we need. It has parking spot that can fit 2 MPVs. The house has good heater system (we went in winter), washer, tatami & beds, kitchen for us to cook with basic appliances. The location is about 10-15mins away from the Hakodateyama Gondola (our main target was Mt Hakodateyama to play snow). The house was easy to find as per the google map's direction.

    Located in a quiet (area which was a bit difficult to find as Google Maps turned us around a bit). Three bedrooms (2 up, one down) with a variety of sleeping platforms from beds to tatami mats. No issues parking in front of the house. It was nice having a washer for clothes (but there was no dryer). Quick response to messages via the Booking app from management.
