It was off season, skiing has finished and tracks aren't opened (mid April) so essentially we had the whole place to ourselves. Beautiful location and surrounds. Spacious room and big bathing facilities. Bath water was nice with a cooler bath next to the (only) other much larger main bath.The place is big and can cater for large groups.

Clean, tidy, comfortable bed and Hongjie (staff) was extremely kind and gave us a lift to nearby ski resort AND let us leave bags at the cottage AND picked us up from skiing AND gave us a lift to the station.

Great room size, good air conditioning, nice shared kitchen and big shower size! Host picked us up from station and gave us a complementary watermelon, which was great after Fuji Rock festival! Was a nice town and close shops/resturant. Reccomend staying here if your a couple or family, as theres a good amount of space and kitchen/bathroom was large enough.

Host was really nice and helpful in explaining rules and how to use the property, such as how we can heat the baths and what we can or cannot use in the property. Host is Japanese speaking only but it was not a problem for us. The property was really clean with big spaces to relax, and our group of 7 enjoyed our stay very much. We can’t wait to return the next time we are in the area!

The staff service was exceptional - every detail was meticulously taken care of, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Warm friendly helpful welcome by the hotel receptionist Yuri. Smooth fast check in. Comfortable spacious clean room and nice onsen. Dinner was wonderful too. The owners are a family. Met Ms Hiroko Misumi and her sister in law who both run the hotel. They are always available to lend assistance to you. Greatly appreciated their help to resolve an emergency. All 3 individuals we met speak English. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of some walls or facade of the hotel building as you approach. Once inside, everything is as well appointed and decorated like a grand ryokan.

First of all, this place is spotless. The owner is very nice and the common rooms are very usable. Theres even a way to wash your clothing by a coin-machine.
