This place is a hidden gem. I love it and wish I could've stayed longer. The room was phenomenal, it was clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. The beach is less than one minute away from the room. There is also enough option on the a la carte menu and the food is very tasty. The girls working at this place (Melvinmachira, Benedette and Cynthia) are so friendly and helpful. They made this place extra special! :) If you are lucky you can see some monkeys whenever you are at the pool or in the trees.

Stunning place with the most amazing sea view, lovely staff and pool. We stayed a total of 6 nights in two different rooms one was aircon and one was not. The first room we stayed in was at the main Flamboyant house which was our favourite, the rooms are in the same building as the dining area and bar so had a bit more action but it was never loud as bar closes at 10pm which is perfect if you are early risers like us. Water was strong and hot, and there are some real lovely touches like beach towels, lovely artisan soaps, lotions and conditioners (my sun dry hair thanks you). Breakfast is included and is very well prepared, in fact all the food is so good we ate here almost every day and the view of the palm trees and ocean is amazing it never got old. The second room we had was in the building Johari next door, it’s a more secluded quiet building which has a lovely veranda perfect for reading a book and enjoying the view. It didn’t have aircon so we struggled a bit more being used to cold weather, but there are 3 fans in the room one on each side of the bed so it’s pleasant, and once sun is fully set it cools off a bit. The beach has sun loungers which are set just up from the sand so you can rest in peace from any beach boys trying to sell you things, which can get annoying after awhile. Otherwise you can lay by the pool in a number of extremely comfortable beds arranged around. We honestly felt like we were in paradise! Finally a word of mention for the staff, they made excellent drinks (Try the Kenyan dawa it’s fantastic!) greeted with a smile and made our stay very enjoyable. Special thanks to Angie for helping organising our stay and transport as well as Alex on the serving staff who was such a happy soul and always made us smile.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tombo House. It was incredible, you feel in the middle of nature. It was so relaxing and peaceful... The owners and the staff are great, super friendly and helpful, they also gave us good recommendations. The pool is amazing too. You can enjoy it during all the day. Breakfast was tailor-made, so fresh and tasty!! Beach is 10-15 min walking, tuk tuk is a way to move along the place. They are expanding to host more people and they are planing to provide a restaurant service at the House. We definitely recommend this place and i would repeat here again for sure.

The location is amazing 2 minutes to the beach. Less than 5 minutes to the local supermarket and restaurants

Really good location in the heart of Diani, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The place was peaceful and beautiful, and the breakfast was simple but really nice! The staff were also super friendly and made us feel welcomed.

They say the best things happen when you least plan or expect them, and that’s exactly what happened with this accommodation. We changed our travel plans, canceled a previously booked stay, and ended up at this hotel through a last-minute offer—a slice of paradise on earth, because that’s exactly what this place was. From the outside, you’d never guess the gem waiting within. The hotel is, of course, exclusive, and the price is higher than what we paid this time, but every bit of luxury offered is worth it. The interior design is top-notch—stylish decor, elegant furniture, and stunning artwork on the walls, which I eagerly captured in my photos. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and warm. The breakfast was like that of a five-star hotel. The in-room refrigerators were stocked with complimentary refreshing drinks. On a warm evening, under the glow of torches, we sat on the beautiful balcony as a family and reflected that this place and this evening would likely remain in our memories for a lifetime.

Beautiful location, great staff, excellent food. Good reading light by the bed, but better reading light in the rest of the room needed and in the bathroom for makeup application.
