They cleaned the rooms every day and the cleaning ladies were so lovely and hospitable. The cleaning ladies went above and beyond and were very kind to us. It’s also on a street with really good curry and food options, close to public transport and a shopping centre!

The host provided a very detailed guide about the accommodation, explaining each key point with photos, making it easy to find the place—it’s only a three-minute walk from the subway station. Since it was the first visit after opening, everything was brand new and spotless. The bed was spacious, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. On the way to the accommodation, I noticed the area was bustling with restaurants and convenience stores, which made me worry that it might be noisy. However, as soon as I entered the alley where the accommodation was located, it became very quiet. I plan to stay at this accommodation again in the future.

“The location and transportation were absolutely perfect!” The subway station was really close, which made it super convenient to get around, and it was also close to Seongsu, so it was great for exploring cafes and restaurants. I especially liked that there was a bus stop nearby with a direct line to COEX, so I could get there easily without having to transfer trains. There were also plenty of 24-hour convenience stores nearby, which was really handy. Each room had air conditioning too, which was great!

I loved the cozy home vibe of this house, and the location, within walking distance of Jongmyo Shrine and the surrounding old Korean village area, was my favorite part. I stayed with my mom for a short visit to Seoul during my trip to Korea. It was also very convenient to use public transportation. The interior was very clean and thoughtfully detailed, including the impressive photos on the wall. Emily was very friendly and promptly responded to my inquiries. The bed was extremely comfortable (the mattress topper made it extra soft and cozy). We were very satisfied with our stay.

The week I spent at Y House, Seoul was a very pleasant one. The apartment is clean, modern and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is bottled water as well as tea and coffee making facilities with teabags and coffee capsules provided. An umbrella is available to borrow, which luckily I didn't need, and there are plenty of toiletries and towels for your use in the bathroom. The shower works really well and the water was always hot while I was there. The view of the southern Seoul skyline is breathtaking with the Lotte Tower clearly visible from the window of the apartment. The building is quiet and the air-con works really well, so I always got a good night's sleep. There are lots of shops in the neighbourhood and also an ATM which accepts foreign cards. A CU convenience store is located right on the ground floor of the building itself. Getting to the city centre and all the main sights is easy as the Line 5 Gangdong subway station is just a few steps away. By subway the journey to the downtown area is approximately 35-40 minutes. I highly recommend Y House to anyone travelling to Seoul for whatever purpose - you won't be disappointed!
