We would definitely return to this hotel again!! It is a beautiful property and they offer superb food! The rooms were comfortable and clean. They offered it all: from the safari to the relaxed atmosphere in the garden of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodated all our requests. The plunge pools were nice and relaxing.

The place exceeded our expectations as a place, very remote and beautiful. We wish we had stayed longer as can really feel and hear the nature around hearing the elephants. Take beautiful walks and it’s just great. They helped booked a safari for us which was amazing however make sure you arrive in plenty of time as we were late due to the last mile of the road towards the hotel and keep 2000 rupees for the Tuktuk if going on safari. A tip if driving, don’t follow Google maps directly the locals take the second turning when driving to the hotel on the dirt road, which looks longer but is way better. Or contact the hotel before you arrive. Has fridge, kettle coffee etc and mosquito net over all windows which is great. The free cold filtered water was a nice touch. Nice to see glass bottles also being used as normally plastic in Sri Lanka. The food was also great

Our stay at Wilpattu Nature Resort was unforgettable! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful escape right next to nature. We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals, especially the breakfast and dinner, which were full of local flavors. The highlight of our stay was the kayaking, lagoon safari, and camping experiences. Being so close to Wilpattu National Park, we also joined a thrilling safari and spotted incredible wildlife. The resort even has its own island and two camping sites, perfect for adventure lovers. The peaceful riverside setting, friendly staff, and unique activities like fishing, cycling, and boat tours make this place truly special.
