The food was incredible and the hosts were so generous with it, we could not finish it all. We loved the birds and the nature surrounding the property. Roshani took us to a beautiful sunset lookout point. We loved everything about our stay!

I really like this place. This is gateway to 3 national parks in Sri Lanka. They are near to nice lake where I took canoe ride. Wonderful tree house that I ever stayed. Highly recommend this place.

A beautiful stay nestled in nature. Rooms were impeccable with everything thought of. Our hosts were wonderful and very friendly. We had been warned of some accomodations in udawalawe making you book safaris through them directly or denying you a room, this is not one of those places. When we checked in we were offered a tour but our hosts were perfectly fine with us having one booked from outside. Dinner buffet was to die for and breakfast was wonderful.

It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! The cleanest stay we had in Sri Lanka. The owner was amazing and very kind! He helped my sick husband with Sri Lankan remedies and took great care of us. We also arranged a safari through them, and it was fantastic! Worth every penny!

The stay was absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t change one thing about this place. We stayed for one night and from start to finish, the service and hospitality was exceptional, we were truly treated like family. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely divine, and we were fed until we couldn’t eat any more! The bed was super comfy and all the bathroom facilities were really good. The safari was great too. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one! The owner even called to speak to us just before we left to make sure we had a good stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was very kind and welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. They also arranged a safari for us , everything was perfectly organized, our driver was punctual, and the experience was amazing. I can only recommend this place!
