This small hotel is a paradise in Sigiriya. The room and bathroom are huge with a beautiful decoration, the garden is lovely with squirrels on trees and a pool is amazing. It is so good to relax there after all the hikes and hot weather. If i ever come back i will definitely stay here at least a week.

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. We had a brilliant stay in Lion Gate Hotel! Everyone working there was so kind, friendly and helpful. We had the traditional breakfast in the morning which we really enjoyed. The hotel is a very short tuktuk ride from everything you could want to see and do. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool which was very well maintained.
