What a wonderful place and a great adventure. We love the location, the little house is super clean, no mosquitoes and the best natural swimming pool. The food is amazing and the owners very sweet and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it to the moon and back. Highly recommended. Also the organized guided tours delivered more than we could hope for.

The accommodation is located near Sinharaja Forest Reserve in a beautiful valley with farms, fields and a lot of animals. We could see peacocks, fireflies and many bird species just outside on our patio. You get a lot of privacy in your villa and a great view over the valley. The villa was perfectly clean and the bed was also very comfortable. The hosts take excellent care of you while you are there. The meals we got were perfect - real local Sri Lankan food. We also did a short hike with the owner into the forest reserve which was a fantastic experience and we saw a lot of wild animals and took a swim in the river next to a waterfall.

My sister and I loved our stay at Evergreen Villa! It’s the perfect place to explore Sinharaja Forest Reserve. The family and staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. We used the villa as a base for our activities in the forest, which we booked directly through them. We did an evening/night walk—an experience we highly recommend—and two day-treks in the jungle to spot wildlife and admire waterfalls. Our guide, Mr. Ruan, was simply exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Our room was spotless and spacious, with a breathtaking view of the river and forest, along with a lovely private patio—perfect for relaxing. We also enjoyed vegan meals prepared by the family at their restaurant. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time with the wild dogs roaming the property, especially a mother with her three playful pups—they truly added to the experience! After our morning excursion in the jungle, the owner kindly allowed us to do a late check-out and take a shower before leaving—something we truly appreciated. We highly recommend Evergreen Villa for its excellent location, warm hospitality, and unforgettable nature experiences!

Waw! This family and accomondation is the best you can chose traveling to Sinharaja forests. The sound of birdsong are everywhere and the private waterfall just few steps from your room. It's a wonderful, peaceful place surrounded by nature and its sounds! Comfi room, lovely staff and all round just a perfect little oasis. The food is also amazing although I found the local breakfast to be a bit expensive compared to other places and even to other items on the menu.

Such a wonderful spot. Beautiful area and excellent service. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and had a gorgeous view!! They organised a tour for us in the rainforest with Achi which was such a lovely experience. This stay was definitely a highlight of our time in Sri Lanka.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. The accommodation is brand new. It's decorated with great taste. You feel comfortable immediately. Everything is very clean. The outdoor area is beautiful. The owners are lovely people. Sitting on a beautiful hill do you see what I see? Or may be I'm dreaming? Because the picture not seems to be reality. Dozens of peacocks are walking. The night fog descends, revealing an incredible view of the mountains surrounded by jungle forest. And so on, so on. The house under the high trees is surrounded by the garden full of exotic plants and flowers. There is a great desire to sit all day at the cottage on a comforrable chair without moving, watching the amazing nature around. The host and his parents are very nice people. He is young and handsome,though his English is very good. He was our guide to the forest, where we spend the whole day watching various animals, insects and birds, listening to stories about them, as well as other details of the life of the relict forest Sinharaja. We have been swimming in several waterfalls. We got soaked in the rain. But we returned home happy and tired, where a delicious Sri Lankan dinner was waiting for us.
